ELLIOTT POND: A GREEN SHOWCASE

Elliott Pond will showcase today’s best green technologies and strategies. The aim is to achieve far more than a high LEED rating. It is to attract and educate environmental visitors by showing fuel cells, biomass, porous pavement, bioswales, gray water, reclaimed lumber for flooring, a pond that is a nature refuge, plaques identifying native plants and animals, whole house fans, passive and active solar, low-VOC paints, crosscuts of insulated concrete forms, straw bale, SIPs, etc.
